***Official Alpine Valley 2010 Petition***

With all the "Please play Alpine" threads, I figured this would be a good time to post one for 2010 since 2009 seems unlikely. So please post here and let's hope for a full scale tour in 2010 that includes this awesome venue for a show or two. I'm not giving up on hope for a 2009 show, but let's face it, after the Ice Bowl I think the boys will make sure the next time they play here will definitley be warmer than 26 degrees. See you all in Chi-town.

    lol @ ice bowl. The 03' show was a perfect summer night and an amazing show ... you'd think pj would have slipped in a show after chi town =) But I agree... Alpine 2010 sounds like the next best thing.

    Ok so I know not everyone is big on Coldplay but I went and saw them at Alpine last nite. Amazing show! You could sense the energy the crowd brought to the set even though they dont really mix up their setlists. Martin mentioned more then once how this was the best crowd so far out of the 138 shows they had played and it felt genuine. There is just something about that place that makes a concert special. Gotta happen in 2010. A nice little stop on the second leg needs to become reality.

    I was there last night too - good show for sure.

    Alpine is a really special place to play/see a show... come back Pearl Jam!

    '03 was a magical evening. Even after that show when Ed said they would come back and didn't, I forgave them. Well, it's been 6 years and nothing. I'm not mad or anything but I would like them to play because I keep telling people that Alpine Valley is the best place to see them!!

    After '03, I've been hoping for something...
    can't believe I've settled for 4 shows at the United Center in Chicago while they pass up such a great venue every year.

    Alpine is a short drive for me. Many good memories, mostly Dead shows. :mrgreen:

    I was just there for the DMB concerts a couple weeks ago. The whole time my friends and I were saying "man I hope PJ plays here again soon"
