Set 1

Inside Job
World Wide Suicide
Severed Hand
Animal
Do The Evolution
Given To Fly
Corduroy
Gone
Marker In The Sand
Daughter(It's Ok)
Better Man
Why Go
Education
Even Flow
Life Wasted
Rearviewmirror

Encore 1

Indifference
Black
Crazy Mary
Alive

Encore 2

The Boys Are Back In Town
Leash
Fuckin' Up

I'd be smiling ear to ear with that set list. I mean it's pretty generic. I think it's mainly because they open up with Inside Job.. and I LOVE it. But solid set all around. Daughter with an "It's ok" tag.. sick. Leash is a plus, and that's a killer 1st encore. Fuckin' Up!

And I love "Gone".

a few great points but overall a very ok setlist. this couldn't hold a candle to any of the '08 setlists, '05 setlists, or most of the other '06 setlists. i guaruntee it was still a phenomenal show. all pj shows are! but i definitely don't see the excitement in this setlist. inside job opening is probably the coolest point. the boys are back in town must have been interesting.

It's never going to go down as an all-time classic or anything, but I really think everyone should check this show out. It's a hidden gem.

It was a short set, (I think they were pretty pissed off about the curfew) but I think it was one of the best structured, most balanced sets I've seen in a long time. Everything flowed together so well. Lots of the longer sets often have a bit of a lull or sag, but this was super tight, & they were really on all night. Best crowd I've ever seen at a gig too - anywhere, for any band. And so loud! The energy was amazing.
It gives me chills everytime I listen to it.

    Highlights:

Inside Job as an opener - not a favourite song of mine, but works so well here
WWS, Severed Hand, Animal, Evolution - an absolutely searing sequence of songs that really set the stage for an absolutely pumped set
It's ok - crowd start singing it before Ed gets to & it just reminded me that it was the Daughter tag in the first show after Roskilde - and this was the 1st show of the 1st Euro tour since Roskilde. The jam is incredibly focused.
Education - 1st time ever, a flub here or there, but great to hear.
RVM is absolutely driven, massive finish. Stone is great on the middle jam
Black - "The beauty of Ireland right there. thanks for singing". Ed seemed really choked up by the end of this version.
Crazy Mary - special for me, because as Ed was walking back from passing the bottle, I tossed him a mask, he caught it with one hand and tossed me the wine cork with the other.
Fuckin' Up - ... and then he came back and tossed me a tambourine. This was a colossal version, by the way.
and of course Boys are Back - missing a verse and other bits, but great fun, and so special to have a song specially for the occasion.

It was a great show to be at :) ... know a few people who weren't at the show who say it is one of their favourite boots to listen to.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

The setlist could be better & alot longer. I was at the show and thought it was pretty short for the usual Pearl Jam show. Fuckin curfew!!
However, I listen to this boot alot. Hearing the extra cheers as EV walks out during Inside job gives me the chills!!

Also, when EV says "I don't want to say anything bad about America, but I couldn't wait to get over here and hear you guys sing" LOL.

the setlist doesn't necessarily look awesome "on paper", but boy oh boy what a show!

 yeah that was pretty cool.

Setlist-wise, the euro 06 tour in general was pretty plain. They didn't change the setlist much at all (maybe underestimated european fans?). The euro 07 setlists were much more exciting.

Show-wise, Dublin '06 was amazing. The atmosphere was great, and the sing-a-longs are amongst the best.

We do the best singing in Europe..Ed told me so :)
great show..theyd been rehearsing in the Point for a whoile week before that show...fucking curfew and poor ed getting fined €3000 for smoking onstage..complete joke!!
Someone said they were standing beside Ed O'Brien from Radiohead at this show..Loved it as a gig though..everytime they've played the Point there's been something special..Hunger strike in 96, SFirst Garden in years & stage dive in 00, Education &BABIT in 06...
    They love playing here...

that was my first PJ show. the atmosphere was INCREDIBLE, and the audience sounded incredible aswell.
a "balanced" setlist is a good way to describe it. and yeah, its not an overly mad setlist....but very few of the 60+ shows had crazy setlists on that tour.

The version of "Indifference" after the encore was exceptional aswell. band in great spirits, lots of banter, LOTS of jam songs, and a few treats. a total party atmosphere.

Also, i listen to this bootleg much more than i do to the other 100s of boots i have.

PS: "Animal" is mindblowingly good on this one.

Not a crazy setlist or anything, but the energy/singing from the crowd makes this a very enjyable boot to listen to.
  • i agree, out of all my live pearl jam this is my favourite show to listen to

and i'm not just saying that because i was there.
