received this but Windows Mail flags it as a phishing scam

    Why would it be a scam? you arn't asked to enter in credit card details. It seems like the hmv domain name and the proper site. From what you pasted it doesn't even say when this other chance will be...

    There was a 2nd link for the 23rd at 9am....

    try ordering tickets using the link. it let me order tickets about 10 minutes ago, at which point it took my card details but the confirmation email was flagged as a phishing scam. Just phoned my card company and they are going to keep an eye on the transaction. Just seesm too good to be true. Order confirmation for 2 seats, level 3!!!

    i got this too and bought them and they worked and i KNOW its real cos the mail was sent from a HMV manager who i checked out...get yer tickets..

    Bloody hell, it did work!!!!!! Strange. Mind you, I'll believe it when I see the tickets on the door mat.

    A. how did a phisher get my email? the only way they could have is cos i mailed 3 hmv departments complaining i didnt get sent a single link in the preorder even though i ordered. a gentleman from hmv got back to me and sent me a link to buy tickets. bought them.

    B.now when i go to the booking confirmation, it brings me to my receipt and booking conf. for 2 tickets on the official HMV website..I do understand your concern but who'd go to aaaall that effort just to scam a few people? Call HMV tickets tomorrow with your REF> number to confirm it if it'll rest your head some.

    dont be worrying fella. just means you have tickets to the gig. dont worry.
