There is a two week stretch between the last shows out west 10/9/09 in San Diego to the next show 10/28/09 in Philly. What do you think...NY City, Boston...maybe DC?? Man I hope so...
Ya never know. It sounds like they may be adding shows in between Seattle and L.A. right now. Plus Jim Koplick who is a promoter in Connecticut was on the radio recently. He said "PJ is touring this fall and we are looking at the Civic Arena or the Mohegan Sun Arena."

I'd love to see this happen too! But I doubt it, maybe in 2010!
Im happy and psyched for my pj fix this year too : both Chicago and Philly 2 (this will make 15 times when said and done and ill have seen them every year since '04!)
If Hartford gets a show, Boston and NYC will definitely get shows. Too late in the year to play an amphitheatre, so it looks like if it happens it would be at the TD Garden, unless they do something like they're doing in LA at the Tsongas Arena
2006- Boston I
2008- Boston I+II
2009- Toronto, Philly III+IV
2010- Bristow, Hartford, Boston, Newark
Even if they don't do CT, Boston, I'm grateful for getting to see EV in Albany and having tickets for both Philly shows. I've been lucky enough to see them at least once every year since 2003.

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will know peace.
I think they'll play here. They'll be adding some dates for probably early November. Anybody ever try the "Jedi Mind Trick" on Kelly Curtis?

Na, I think if this happens it'll be before Philly.
Yeah, I think so too. I think it would be wierd for them not to tour their "money makers" (Boston-Philly-NYC) during an album tour. Hell they did them all on a non-promotional tour! Honestly I think they had a deal with the Spectrum to announce when the Spectrum wanted which was before other northeast dates were announced in order to sell the shows out and in return I think PJ got more 10C seats than usual (notice there are very, very few floor seats and side wing seats available on the scalper sites, at least for the 10/30 show). And since when does PJ announce tour dates 3 1/2 months before the show? At least for the last few years it seems to be about 2 months out. I'm expecting mid October Boston/NYC dates to be announced around the end of this month, beginning of next. Plus the Boston DJ's have said more than once in the past week "everyones waiting for them to announce additional NA tour dates".
Then of course I could be wrong and I'll still be happy with 1 show in Philly (even happier with 2 if they'd announce the 3rd show!).

I don't think so. PJ is a business and they go where the money goes. I think we all need to realize this. Of course when we (meaning my husband and I) move the FL I'll surely be on the Play the South petition but in my heart I know they'll continue to play where they make money. It's nice to think that they're in it to make us all happy and "spread the jam" but from a business perspective it makes the most sense to play where they make the most cash and let the fans come to them.
Sorry to sound harsh, that's just the way it works when you're running a business. :(

right on. How bout Fenway? might be a stretch though...sox will likely be playing in Oct... let's hope for the garden!
I wouldn't be at all surprised if they included a couple of shows somewhere on the East Coast before the Philly shows, but it seems unlikely they'll come after...
That being said, if Boston or NYC get passed on this tour, I won't be shedding any tears for you. They'll most certainly be back in your neck of the woods in 2010, and I think it's definitely fair to say you've had far more than your fair share of Pearl Jam in recent memory
