I know this board has the experts that would save healthcare as well as solve the rest of the world's problems ;) (myself included)

but there is a show on CNBC Monday night that I think will be very interesting......

In "Meeting of the Minds: The Future of Health Care" hosted by CNBC's Maria Bartiromo, CNBC assembles some of the biggest names in the industry and government to advance the conversation and propose solutions to America's health care crisis. Will universal access lead to lower quality of care? Will our efforts to health care for all stifle business and put America at a disadvantage in the global arena? And what will American health care look like for the next generation?

the guest list..(more extensive bios on the site)

Bill Frist, M.D.
Professor of Business and Medicine, Vanderbilt University
Former Majority Leader, U.S. Senator

Jennifer M. Granholm
Governor of Michigan (D)

John C. Lechleiter, Ph.D.
CEO & President, Eli Lilly

Michael Milken
Chairman, The Milken Institute
Chairman, FasterCures

Dr. Steven Nissen
Chairman, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine

Dr. J. James Rohack, MD
President, American Medical Association

Are they going to talk about health care or health insurance?
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

I wish they had a Family Medicine doc on that list. Looks like all the docs are specialists.

Night before the bar exam, I suspect I will be a bit busy and preoccupied. Hopefully I'll be able to read up on it later.

i would think it to be a breeze............i mean, if the amount of time studying is equal to the amount of posts you have.
live and let live...unless it violates the pearligious doctrine.

Oh it is... wait, you meant inversely proportional, right?

Sadly, I racked up a lot of these posts when my attention wandered in class... maybe they'll scrap the regular exam and just ask everyone for thoughts on how to fix health care, hoping someone will turn in something brilliant?
