    what did you see. what would you recommend? we're flying into anchorage and heading north for a week. then we'll spend a weekend in ketchikan. i used to live in ketchikan, so i don't need any advice there, but the main part of alaska is foreign to me. any help would be appreciated.

    FANTASTIC is all i can say!
    that's what we did for our honeymoon...trip of a lifetime!
    go take a helicopter ride up to walk on a glacier....AMAZING! LOVED alaska, loved the cruise, beautiful place...would love to get back someday...


    btw - we went the end of june (17 years ago)...unbelievably beautiful weather! great, warm temps, no rain...just gorgeous. :)
