You're not kidding. So glad I caught the end of the game at my computer at work.

Pitching stats just got a much needed boost in fantasy baseball...now, if only Adam Wainwright could do the same thing tonight

I have Dan Haren going vs. the Pirates tonight...I might have 2 no hitters in one night

God damn the White Sox. And the Tigers couldn't score more than one run for the 4th time in 6 games since the All-Star break. They're batting below .100 with runners in scoring position. These guys are fucked now that the White Sox have finally woken up.

Watch out Tigers! 4 huge games in Detroit this weekend and the teams seem to be going in opposite directions. Hopefully that keeps up.

I didn't think we'd see a catch all season to rival Curtis Granderson's game saving grab to rob the Indians of a bottom of the 9th walk off... but I was wrong. That was unbelievable.

I know people who aren't Sox fans hate Hawk Harrelson, but I love how excited he gets when stuff like this happens!!! If only he called the final out in the World Series instead of that lame ass, Joe Buck!

And what a surprise, you're not a Sox fan, which is why I said people who aren't Sox fans hate him.

Oh he's just a 4x All-Star with a no-hitter, a perfect game and a World Series ring. Not bad huh?

I had some serious goosebumps during that 9th inning. Got home at the end of the 8th, just in time to witness perfection. Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

I know Mark has said he's going to consider retirement after his current contract runs out (2011 I think), but damn; he's got 133 wins at the age of 30. With the way he pitches and his dependability, he should reach 200. 200 wins to go with the rest of his resume....I'm not saying HOF, I'm just saying....DAMN!
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

The best news about his perfect game... he won't be pitching against Detroit this series ;) We need all the breaks we can get!

I am a Cubs fan, but Buehrle is awesome. I am not a Sox hater like some. I am a baseball fan so I watch a lot of Sox games as well.

I have him on my fantasy team... I sat him this week!!!! First time all season. I wanted to put in four guys with two starts. So I put in Max Scherzer, David Price and John Smoltz. They combined for 1.8 points on Monday! Buehrle would have scored me 48! Nice move.

My pitching staff is huge. I have Lincecum, Derek Lowe, Ted Lilly, Jake Peavy and Buehrle. I now rotate out Smoltz, Scherzer and Price for Peavy.

Before this season started, you would've had trouble convincing me that the Sox would be tied for 1st near the end of July. This is a big 4 game set, with a nice day-nighter today. Tigers are definitely catching a break by not having to face Buehrle or Danks. Richard on Sunday : yikes. Contreras this afternoon and Colon tonight : double yikes. Although the Sox do get to face a guy making his first start of the season tonight, they have to face the Tigers aces in the other 3 games. We'll see what happens.

Just a bit of information for you all. I think most of you all remember Mark throwing a no-hitter back in 07 well he had the same umpire behind the plate during the perfect game yesterday as he did when he threw the no-hitter. Also, the first base umpire yesterday was the second base umpire during his no hitter. Also, what an amazing catch to start the 9th inning. Which we may not have been if Ozzie did not substitute him in to start the inning. Also, this the regular catcher AJ P...(wont even try to spell that) took the day off and Castro caught him and it was his first time catching Mark. I guess it is true what they say everything in the universe must be line to throw a perfect game.

That was a hell of a catch...

Im not a Sox fan....But I would have loved to have been at Comiskey yesterday.....

A perfect game in Chicago....What are the odds???

Only 18 perfect games in the history of the major leagues....

I bet you have a better chance of getting struck by lightening....20 times....than you have of attending a perfect game....
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

Thanks for calling it Comiskey, Speedy!

I think DeWayne Wise will be receiving an iced-out Rolex from Buehrle in the coming weeks for making that catch.
