mike & ed alt version of jeremy (mid 90's?)

does anyone remember what show this was played? it was a long time ago and my memory of those yrs isn't so good these days. i had it on tape but many of my tapes were lost over the years. anyway, i want a friend of mine to hear it so if anyone has it or knows when it was played i would be greatful.

    the full band played it twice that I recall:

    6/20/95 Red Rocks
    11/7/95 San Diego

    the only Mike & Ed set I can think of right now was at the Tibet Freedom Concert in 1997, but the setlist was Corduroy/Ledbetter/Rockin in the Free World.

    6-20-95 was the premier of the "new" slower version of Jermey:) Other than the Randalls Island show..dont recall what other shows it was preformed at..just couple times it was ever played...

    It was also played 7/9/95, and it was never just Mike and Ed.

    yep...6/20/95 that's the one i thinking of...for some reason i thought it was mike and ed only...soph in college that year so like i said memory of those days is quite limited :lol:

    appreciate the reminder of the TFF show...that version of Corduroy is AMAZING!!!! anyone has a copy/link to those 3 songs? i would love to hear them again!

    i know they played a slow, new jeremy at summerfest in milwaukee as well..... wanna say it was around 95 or so...

    I was at both nights too..make ups for the canceled summer shows..I was in college at the time..had to drive 5 hours to the firstt show..finish the show drive 5 hours back..take a test in the morning..and then drove back down 5 hours again to see the second show..and then drove back another 5 hours after that..all without a radio too cause my car crapped out... listening to the boot right now..2nd night was incredible..if you need copies of either night i can send them to you..soundboard mix..

    thanks mate, but i already got them, but its really nice that you offered.

    first night we were on our way back to L.A from las vegas, when we heard on the radio pj were playing san diego, that night, so we headed to diego instead got there about supper time, and ended up talking to the dj's doing a radio broadcast outside the show, they said come back next night, we'll put you on the air. so off we went and sat outside the venue, we heard pj start their set, and notice people from inside opening doors so their friends could run in free. so my mate went up to a security lady and said we were from scotland, told a white lie and said it was our last night of vacation, (actually it was our second last) and couldn't get tickets, so she let us sneak in, only missed about 3-4 songs, next night as prommised the dj's put us live on air to talk, then later, she presented us with 2 free tickets for the show. now thats what i call being in the right place, at the right time.

    6/22/95 - Cal Expo, Sacramento, CA also had a wiggy version of Jeremy. Light off-beat guitar and simple drums for about 2 verses, no singing of the chorus, riffing on 2nd verse ... "picking on the boy... we picked on the boy... i picked on the boy...."
