Has Pearl Jam always staggered tour announcements?

In some aspects, it makes sense, as for whatever reason, PJ's server cant handle much traffic, so to announce 30-50 dates all at once maybe would be rough. But at the same time, its kind of bizaare. Moneys tight for all of us right now. I find it interesting, how dates are being announced these past few tours. A few shows at a time. Causing fans in some areas to buy tickets for shows they wouldnt recessarily buy for, because they fear PJ wont tour their area.

Im Sure 10 club has their reasons, I just think its unfortunate.

    Im not sure mate, but ivr just tryed to get SBE, London tickets and im from Ireland because there seems to be no gig here at the mo, so i guess your right

    No they haven't always done it this way - only in recent years.

    They seem to tour more than Radiohead though.

    nope .. not sure when this shit started.. If i remember correctly after Riot Act tours started being announced oddly.. rather annoying for fans but great for quick money i suppose ...
