3 accused of letting rats chew toes off Ohio baby Published - Jul 21 2009 10:48PM EDT

Three people have been accused of letting rats bite a 6-week-old girl and chew off her toes at their cluttered Ohio mobile home.

Pike County prosecutor Rob Junk says the baby's toes on one foot were gone when sheriff's deputies went to the home Sunday after receiving an anonymous tip.

The baby is in fair condition at a Columbus hospital.

A married couple and the 18-year-old boyfriend of the baby's mother are charged with felony child endangering. They were in court for an initial hearing Tuesday. They're jailed pending a plea hearing in two weeks.

The prosecutor says they all lived in the mobile home west of Piketon, a village noted for its old uranium enrichment plant.

He says the baby's mother is a juvenile. He won't identify her or say if she'll be charged



I can't even think of anything to say about something like this happening. What sick fuckers. :evil:

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Absolutely appaling. I hope their punishment is extremely painful to them. People that allow this sort of thing to happen have no business wasting O2.

    I have read of some torture methods used by Czarist Russia that involved rats.....maybe we could make these criminals, if found guilty, suffer through the aforementioned methods? :twisted:

    i am sure there is a wonderful facility that can rehabilitate the parents, that is all these people need.

    after rehabilation.........they will become great contributors to our society.

    crap, they may even have their own lecture circuit on how to deal with living in filth and maintaining a cooperative living environment with our earthly rodent commrades.
