Ok, I'll admit it now. I hated The Fixer at first, but now I freaking love it. The lyrics really do stink, but I guess I can understand the band going for simplicity. Great song, Bring on Backspacer!

i kinda took it for what it was at the beginning. i'm not saying it is their best effort but it has grown on me a lot. It's a catchy radio song, it's the 1st single. i don't think the lyrics are that bad really. i'm getting tired of the anti-war, anti-government songs so i think this is a little different so i like it. i know they have always been and will always be a political band but the last album was just a little too political. i think i was highly attached to big wave just because it was catchy and fun. i feel the same way about this song i think. that's all i got.

  • i like it... and i think the lyric is simple but meaningful too... it´s a catchy song and it´s a very good piece of work... i don´t have a problem if it is a radio song (it might/will be played a lot here in Brazil... well at least it can be...). the truth is i´m proud of this... great preview of what is going to be Backspacer!! :D
