I've been lurking on here for quite some time, but I have finally signed up.

I'm a 26 year old Iowan and a Pearl Jam fan for many years. Quite possibly headed to the Sunday concert at the United Center in late August, so between now and then, perhaps I'll get to know some of you and see you there (or run into some of you there).

    Yes, I do enjoy the fixer. At first I was luke warm on it when I heard it at work, and then when I got home and turned everything off and shut everything down but just the music, I really enjoyed it. I have read that the lyrics are simplistic, but this song, as do all PJ songs, goes far beyond what the words look like on a page. I'm excited for Backspacer, I just have a feeling based on what I have read that this is going to be a great album.
