I love it. But what I don't love is how it has to recharge after just a few quarter-mile races... How practical is this thing for those of us who don't race, and just want to drive to work or elsewhere?
wow. Incredible. A dude in his garage can do it, but car companies cant? hmmmmmmmmm
Yeah, just a little suspect eh?
That car is so cool....I WANT ONE!

the dude is building it out of his garage!!!!
You'd think it would use less power if you weren't racing it...either way, it negates the 'not powerful enough' argument against electric cars.
I watched "Who Killed the Electric Car" a few weeks back... http://freedocumentaries.net/media/172/ ... ctric_Car/
I hadn't really thought about it before, but there were FULLY electric vehicles on the road 10+ years ago, and they've all disappeared...watching this movie, it's COMPLETELY FUCKING OBVIOUS that our bail-out-requesting-dinosaur friends in the auto industry have prevented and intentionally shelved electric technology...cars that ran on 100% electricity were being produced, the infrastructure was being established...then one day...nope, recall 'em all and send 'em to scrap! Can't have the job market evolve in the name of progress, now can we?

anyways - like i've been saying - the solution to the majority of our environmental problems already exist ... it's really a matter of will ...
