i have absolutely no creative talent and i'm looking for some type of pick display that will hold a photo as well, so i figured i'd bug you guys for ideas or pictures if anyone has framed a pick. i caught a mike pick in toronto a few years ago and an eddie in albany this year and i'd like to get them off my desk and up on the wall...thanks

my only picks are inside a crummy shadow box along with my vic wristband and a matt sweatband i caught at that show... so not ideal / what youre probably thinking of

BUT if i were to do it how youre thinking... i would get a nice white matte, cut room for the photo above it, and then make a 2"x2" (approx.) window centered below that for the pick - backed with some black paper to make it pop or white if you want something more subtle

lemme know if you come up with a better solution... im thinking of framing my stuff better

  • You know you could also go with a muesuem style box with muesuem glass. I mean as in like a thin box that can go on the wall, nothin huge. It just gives it a little depth. Then the color will last and let me tell you this, it will look like the glass doesn't even exist. Then it will look as if it was floating up with a small stand. I think that would look pretty good as well.
