Last try! Is there or is there not a Philly Night 3?

How many of us are on their toes, off their seats, checking the goods section, skimming through dozen & dozen of threads here, at the theaters, grocery shopping, @ the bar, dancing/swimming, working etc.. thinking about this event, if it's a yes or no event? *waves hand. Ever since I scored those 10club ticket's for Night 1; not scoring for Night 2 (though scored 1 ticket from Comcast); the right eye has been twitching for this rumor/not rumored date.

What we got so far? TV report's said there will be a show; few threads/user's here have already bought ticket's via SkyBox seats (pricey tickets); people calling the Spectrum (I included) saying ticket's were to be sold this Friday/Saturday on Comcast. First 10club will say something about it. The thinking continues. With work, hospital, work, home, work!! Mama mia!!! Pearl Jam can take your breath away.

So this is it. 10club. Kat/Sea! Is there a Philly Night 3 event? And if so, will 10club be selling tickets? And if so, will we get a day or 2 ready for the sale? And if so, if I score 10club ticket's to Night 3, I want to take one of ya's with me. You will have to fight it via rocks, paper's, scissors. My spar ticket will be on the house.

Thanks! :)

i'm of the opinion tickets are gonna go on sale unannounced like chicago 2. i am sort of expecting this to happen tomorrow.

if not, then they would announce tomorrow, and sell thursday.

either way, i think by tomorrow, we will know more.

D, unfortunately I think we have a better chance of getting an answer from the Spectrum or Comcast than here.

I think we have to keeping calling the people at the Spectrum and bug the shit out of them. They are more likely to spill the beans to us than the 10 Club. I too think that they are just going to through these tickets up there without any notice. Unfortunately I have to work all day and can't stay on this website 24/7. It would be nice if they gave us a heads up on a date and time for the sale. :?

I would really appreciate it if someone could politely explain why this is so imperative that it happens immediately? Thanks.

Becuase the waiting is literally driving all of us mad...I'm a planner and I need to know what the F is going on...Flyers at home that afternoon, the Phils are at 10 in a row, would be WS game #3 at home, and Birds/Giants home game next day is just another variable...BUT on a serious note, I spoke to a buddy that works in the Comcast organization today and he said a 3rd show is happening, BUT...the announcement date is up in the air, so who knows the timeline..........and so it goes......

I'm just guessing here, but I'd say it's all about control. Control of getting 10C tix and control of knowing one's future. 10C also likes to have the control of not letting members know anything until they feel like telling us.

It's not that it needs to be immediate, it needs to happen when people know about it. People keep checking the website every 5 minutes, then they go to the bathroom and come back to find out they already went onsale....... That's how it's gonna happen.

I think people just want a little heads up so they can plan their meetings accordingly. Most bands usualy give a couple weeks or a couple months notice before tickets go onsale.

only reason why i pay for my membership is to get announcements when tickets go on sale thru the 10c

im sure i speak for others that wont be happy if tickets do go on sale without notice.

highly unprofessional if the 10c goes ahead and does that to its members that work a 9-5 without access to a computer.

Agreed. To be honest, I see absolutely no advantage for the 10C to NOT announce ticket sales. It's not like they care about the site crashing...

they can't win any way they do it. they did chicago rollover unannounced, and people bitched. they did philly announced, and people bitched.

if people are going to bitch, i imagine they'd rather save their servers in the process.

People didn't bitch as much when they were given several weeks notice.

Yeah but there's a difference. People have a legitimate reason to complain when their fan club opens up ticket sales unannounced. At least when they're announced you know it's coming and you know what you're getting yourself into. In that case you have no legitimate basis for complaint.

Its pretty easy from my point of view: Do I need to bust my arse to get enough items for 3 events or 2? When I say events, I mean for this:

    viewtopic.php?f=4&t=103261

Not to mention when I write my letters to businesses and franchises, I do not know whether to write 2 nights or 3 nights for the following opening sentence. Obviously, I would like to know it is 3 nights so I can accumulate more products from people and companies if they see we are having 3 events instead of 2:

"The Wishlist Foundation, a Pearl Jam fan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is hosting pre-concert fundraisers to celebrate legendary rock band Pearl Jam’s two night stint at the Philadelphia Spectrum "

And last, but certainly not least- there's that little negotiating thing going on with the Spectrum parking lot! It sure would help if I knew if it were 3 shows instead of 2 while I am discussing with them if we have their permission to use the parking lot for our fundraiser events!

ah, thanx VedderGirl, but please don't thank me. Our Troops give us the Freedom to have these parties..They deserve the thanks! By the way, I cant post it yet since its not officially in my hands yet, but I got a really cool autographed item coming our way for the pre parties...an autograph by someone who could be said to have influenced Ed back in the early 90's or late 80's or so. Stay tuned!
