The chorus to this song sounds awfully familiar...can anyone place it?
Thanks EPOTTSIII!

It's an Aerosmith song I think, maybe Love In An Elevator.

That was what I thought listening to it as well. It's not perfect, but it's there.

I never heard Buckcherry's last album, I should pick it up.

I realize not a lot of people on this board like Buckcherry, but I LOVE them... Not only a very cool group of guys, but good, ballsy, straight-forward rock and roll a la old Aerosmith and AC/DC... And they're a fantastic live band. Josh Todd is one of the most entertaining frontmen to watch, in my opinion.

As far as Talk To Me, it's one of the tracks on Black Butterfly that I don't particularly care for. And to me, it sounds a hell of a lot like Slamin'... Yes, it's intentionally misspelled. Slamin' is a track on Time Bomb, Buckcherry's second album, and the cadence of Josh's lyrics, the notes that he holds, etc sound very similar. Check out that track and see if you agree. I realize that may not be the song you're thinking of, but to me, that's what it sounds most like...

Honestly, I only know a couple of Buckcherry songs from the radio but I can appreciate your straight forward old school comparison. I really wanted to say that your avatar picture makes me smile everytime I see it! You just look so blissfully happy...and I'm jealous :D

I've never heard time bomb or the newest one, but the first album and 15 are awesome albums. nobody else is doing what they do as well as they do right now. good times.

bookmuse, to say that i was blissfully happy is an understatement. i wish i wasn't as fat in that picture, but it's still one of the highlights of my musical life, meeting and talking with ed.

as far as buckcherry goes, i agree that "no one else is doing what they do as well as they do right now". their debut and 15 are certainly their best albums, but time bomb is rock solid as well. my least favorite album of theirs is black butterfly, but i still love several of the cuts on there. if you have never seen them live, check them out. although i much preferred their small-venue performances on the 15 tour, they still can bring it on a massive stage opening for kiss. josh todd is one of the most unique and entertaining frontmen i've ever seen and i've seen hundreds of them...

    my ranking of buckcherry albums:
    1. 15 (every single track is awesome)
    2. Buckcherry (dirty rock and roll)
    3. Time Bomb (still aggressive, but a couple really great ballads in 'You' and 'Open My Eyes')
    4. Black Butterfly (hard to live up to the previous album, 15)
