    I wish they posted the credits. I know mike said matt did the music but Id like to see if its all his or if Ed did the lyrics or Stone is credited in any way etc. Im a geek like that.

    im with you, id like to know if its boom on the piano or not. i didnt like this at first but it has really grown on me, just like got some and both sides of the xmas single, lets face it, backspacer is gonna be awesome

    I thought I heard in Mike's interview that matt brought the song in and Ed put some lyrics to it. Coulb be wrong though. Great song!

    Im not convinced thats a piano. sounds like it might not be keys at all but rather some form of guitar.

    Yeah. Mike definitely said in that New York interview that Ed put some lyrics to Matt's song, which apparently Matt had for over a year

    Thanks for backing me on this one. I have been saying since yesterday to anyone that would listen that the sound they were hearing as a piano was in fact a guitar.

    The textual composition kind of reminds me of Wishlist. Simple and looking at a similar thing from different angles. Anyone has an idea what the title is reffering to though? I know it refers to "fixing" etc. but "the fixer" sounds more ambigious. Like in taking a "fix". In this sense the lyrics may not be as innocent as first appeared.
