does anyone know how i can rip audio from a dvd using a mac?

    i've asked before, but unfortunately have been unsuccessful....does anybody know how to get video off of a DVR onto a computer (either mac or pc is ok)? Specifically its an scientific atlanta HD box through cablevision....

    would be forever in debt (and would promise to post some gems!) :mrgreen:

    easiest way is to use a dv camcorder...that's what i do

    Look up the mac version of VLC media player. There are dozens of how-to's online. Some goods ones can be found at Lifehacker.com.
