How about a tour with B O' B on the piano instead? Was anyone else very impressed with his LROM at the Who Tribute show?

I think it would be incredibly awesome for Boom to not be on the album or the tour or at any show ever again.

that would be cool too ! i guess i just cant hate on Boom because you can tell he has so much damn fun up there. lets face it, sometimes the other guys just look like they are not having fun. Boom on the other hand is always smiling ear to ear.

but B O' B would be cool and different.
    Peace, Love.

I just don't think Boom is very good at the keys and would prefer to not have him playing on everything. Now if Brendan wanted to play some shows...

Guitar solo on Hard to Handle by the Black Crowes... Brendan really lets it rip on that one.

Brendan has played with PJ several times other than the LROM. Soldier Field '95, Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns in Vegas '00 (as well as Black and Can't Help Falling in Love With You). All are awesome.

yeah, those shows were indeed awesome. i was J/K b4 by the way.

i agree though , there are songs Boom should stay away from.

He's borderline ruined some songs, especially on the boots. There just isn't enough he brings to the table to detract from when he sucks, imo.

Boom will be on Keys on a few songs.

Will will be on Cowbell on a few songs.

...and if previous tours are any indication, both of them will be playing Keys and Cowbell on all songs, even songs that don't need 'em. 8-)

I think as the band considers their legacy (20 years) that they may be moving away from including Boom in many aspects of the band's promotion. This is good news as far as I'm concerned. Boom seems like a nice guy, but I never thought he was a good fit with PJ.

I really hope they keep Boom on tour with them, however I reaaaaally hope they keep the reigns on him and use him only on Boom-recorded songs. There's no reason we need to hear piano on Rockin' In The Free World, outside of a Saloon.

Im not so sure thats a piano or keys at all. On my headphones it sounds like it could be coming from a guitar string.
