ACL Daily Schedule is Out!!

Sunday is full of conflicts for me. It's too bad that Ben & R7 aren't opening for PJ, because now I'll miss them!!

thoughts? it's going to be an awesome weekend.....

Nothing against The Toadies, but I wonder if this festival wasn't in Texas, if they wouldn't be on the main stage. Any other festival, I think, they would drop The Dead Weather down into the toadies spot and then put Ben Harper in the Dead Weather spot- it just seems to make more sense.

that's exactly what i was thinking. so bummed that we'll miss BH & R7.

Whomever put DeVotchKa on at the same time as the Decemberists is one cruel motherfucker. I'm sure those bands have a ton of crossover fans.

If I was going, I'd be out of my head furious.

Only dissapointment for me personally is the Ben Harper and Dead Weather. I'm going with Ben Harper and R7 cause they never tour Houston and I hear he is just amazing live. The new record is great.

I think my schedule is gonna go like this:
vince Mira 12:40-1:20
clutch- 2 - 3
Toadies- 4- 5
Michael Franti and spear head 5-6
Ben Harper and R7- 6-7
Sonic Youth- 7-8
PJ- 8 to 10pm

Pretty good I think.

SY RESCHEDULES TOUR

Sonic Youth and Matador are totally bummed to announce that guitarist Lee Ranaldo has fractured his left wrist -- requiring the band to reschedule portions of their upcoming west coast tour to the following new dates:

Mon Jan 04 - Tucson, AZ - Rialto Theater
Tue Jan 05 - Phoenix, AZ - Marquee Theater
Thu Jan 07 - San Diego, CA - House of Blues
Fri Jan 08 - Pomona, CA - Fox Theater
Sat Jan 09 - Los Angeles, CA - The Wiltern

Tickets for the original dates will be honored or, if necessary, refunds will be made available at the point of purchase.

Two of the band’s planned Fall appearances will NOT be rescheduled, however – September 26 in Santa Barbara and October 4 at The Austin City Limits Festival. Refunds for the Santa Barbara performance will be available at the point of purchase

Lee fractured his wrist while playing tennis, no minor injury for a guitarist, writer, and visual artist. Please join us in wishing him a quick and thorough recovery.

God I would be so happy if I was going to ACL! After sitting through there indie craptastic music on the last PJ tour I really can't stomach them anymore.

damn... KOL is gonna be so disappointing after seeing the vultures... they should switch their slots just to avoid that

saturday looks like shit other than the decemberists

the sunday toadies > dead weather > pearl jam line up is pretty solid

Dave Matthews Band-8-10:00 i would check this out for a bit to see what all the fuss is about never been to a DMB concert not a huge fan of them, but they are good musicians so i'd check out the live setting.

Levon Helm, Ghostland Observatory, And you will Know Us by The Trail of the Dead, The Scabs, Saturday doesn't seem so bad to me.
