Would love that but it will never happen. only venue will be the crappy O2. but if they announce a gig during summer may get marley park. but if full euro tour gets announced it will only be O2. pity because olympia is fab.

i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

The Olympia would be amazing, but since we're wishing for the impossible why not Whelan's, with tickets availbale only to 10c members with Irish addresses? That would be sweet.
I would try for tickets to see them in Shepherds Bush, but since I'm already going to London a week later I can't afford to make the trip again. Definitely would have tried for SBE tickets before the London O2 if I'd known it was happening.

The Dublin O2 isn't too bad, certainly not as bad as the Point. Though it means that Eddie won't be able to tell his joke again.
When we found the things we loved,
They were crushed and dying in the dirt.
We tried to pick up the pieces,
And get away without getting hurt,
But they caught us at the state line,
And burned our cars in one last fight,
And left us running burned and blind,
    Chasing something in the night.

I'd prefer the Olympia, but have you been to the Point since it becamethe O2? It's a fabulous venue. Not crappy in the slightest.

Yeah the new O2 is actually pretty sweet! Even though it's still a feckin' half hour walk from town though (they should really get a move on with the Luas down there!) It's nice to be in a venue that was created for MUSIC and not for football, GAA, horses etc...
The Button Factory is actually alright these days too!
Marley Park (which won't happen) = Metallica for me, no way would I wanna see 'em there, although my worst nightmare would be having to see them headline Oxegen
Thinking outside of Dublin, the Sky venue in Portlaoise is pretty nifty, and what about Spring and Airbrake in Belfast?

I'm just bumping this up because The Pixies have started a three-night stint in the Olympia tonight. They turned down the O2 for this, and it'll be totally worth it if PJ did the same! DOOO IIIIIT!

Only problem is you'd get A LOT of moaners on here about the seats as when you get nosebleed seat, it's very close to being to being a fact. Saw a comedian there a few weeks ago and I could only see him when he stood back. So that's a drawback to the venue. Would be sweet though. Eddie rocking his socks off in as classy of a venue as you'll find
