    I heard they are going to play for 5 days straight with only bathroom/meal breaks hanging from the rafters of the spectrum in the center of the stadium, opening with an all kazoo rendition of Ten.....and if your lucky enough to be in a box seat...Stone will come and give you a lap dance while the rest of the band stand in the corner humming the melody of private dancer by Tina Turner.

    where did this whole center stage thing come from? Somebody's cousin's friend's ex-wife? They have never done it before, they have not said they will be doing it, so I am just curious why I have seen multiple posts mentioning it?

    the world series wont be at cpb during the shows, al won the all star game:
    "The season will begin April 5 and could last until Nov. 5, the latest in history. The regular season won't end until Oct. 4, pushing back the start of the World Series until Wednesday, Oct. 28, if baseball continues its current format."

    Even if there's a four-game sweep, the season will last at least until Nov. 1.

    i don't think the phillies will matter, but the Flyers are at home on the 31st of Oct at the Wachovia Center for a 1pm game which should be over by about 4. shouldn't impact traffic for the rumored PJ show at night

    maybe it's because of the bud...but i closed my eyes and actually imagined Stone giving someone a lap dance while the band hummed private dancer..and i laughed my ass off!! :lol::lol::lol: try it! ahhhhh...i crack myself up sometimes. :mrgreen:

    so i'm twisted too...guess that kinda helps.

    Here's my 2 cents...I think the venue is saying "Centre Stage" because tickets are being sold as if PJ are playing that way (ie behind the stage 360degrees), but the stage will actually be at the end for the concert. Make sense????

    I would have to agree with this. It is an End Stage, at the end of the floor, but Pearl Jam sells the seats behind and around the stage too. Becoming an off-center stage to an extent, LOL!

    I think there may have never been a real Center Stage concert in The Spectrum ever. I have been to quite a few shows there and I never saw that. Wachovia Center has had Center Stage Events, Metallica being one I have seen at that venue.

    THAT IS AWESOME!!!! COFFEE CAME OUT MY NOSE WHEN I READ THIS!!! LOVE THE PART ABOUT A LAP DANCE FROM STONE.
