Alpine Valley 10/8/00-What Happened?

I have the boot from the next night in Chicago and Eddie mentions an incident that took place the night before.He doesnt say what happened but mentions how "we all survived last night' and he couldnt believe that that actually happened ,or some thing to that effect.
I also notice the set is a little short.
So what happened?

    28 degrees throughout the show. i wasn't there but I live in MA and I can tell ya that 28 degrees is definately cold. I seem to work outside in the winter more than inside and 28 degrees sinks into you're bones quickly.

    i've been to football games in that weather. not fun, but not bad if you dress for it.

    you would think WI people know how to dress for that kind of weather.

    I was there, and it was indeed quite cold. Dissident from the Touring Band DVD is from that, and Mike looks really stiff from the cold.

    it definitely felt colder than 28 degrees!! Once the music started it was like a heat wave!!!!!!!!!

    it is the only concert i have ever been to with a longer line for Hot chocolate, than beer. :o
