I love them especially since they're a beantown band. I just recieved an email update from them. I saw multi times when they toured with my friend Michael Franti and his band Spearhead and a couple times at the 9:30 Club in DC. Hung out with them backstage and they gave a couple of their cd singles and they were so easy to talk to.

Funny in the cd store I was just thinking about them today and when they maybe releasing a new album.

never heard of them any suggestions? who do they sound like?

hard to compare them to anyone...check out their album "us against the crown". Its one of those albums that you can play all the way through, a classic.

If you like their sound also check out Dispatch which was the former band...very similar.

I've seen State Radio at on Veteran's Day with Cindy Sheehan at UMass. I've also seen them at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA. They are amazing and I can't wait for the new album.

I gather I'm going to miss the opening of their tour 9/30 after last night U2 extravaganza. I now found out I twisted my ankle in a fall and also busted my phone. They could play in my back yard and I would be able to go. :(

Time for an upgrade.

that sucks, I have to work the night of the gainesville FL show...so now i either drive an extra hour and pay triple the price to see 311 as well or wait till next time.
