For people who didn't get Philly tickets (Phils related)...

If the Phillies make the World Series, game 1 will be the same night as the first show.

Just wait until closer to the show and don't pay out the ass on stubhub right now for seats. I guarantee you there will be a number of Phillies fans selling their tickets, as to not miss a World Series game.

Obviously, it's an "if" for now...but it's a possibility.

I do see a Philly vs LA NLCS though

See there is a flaw in your logic there chief, it is not soley a philly crowd, the people that have those tickets already realize there could be a world series game and have decided to do PJ instead.

Yeah, I got half price Who tix on the floor last year because people were dumping them because they had World Series tix.

phil would be out of town, and not as many locals are getting tickets as you seem to think.

So? No one is talking about GOING to the game. People will not want to miss it. Trust me, 90% of the people I spoke to said they would skip the show to watch the game.

And on The Who -- I was going to go, and if I had tickets, I would've let them go as well. It was so easy to get tickets to those shows bc of the Phils.

psussb, I'm a BIG Yankees fan & if they are in Game 1,I'll DVR it,go to the show, not listen to the radio on the way home & then watch it when I get home (Plus,I'll call out of work for the next day..lol) Can't DVR PJ! lol

Haha. You actually think you'll be able to go the whole night without hearing someone mention the World Series score?

    Philly doesn't have DVR?

plus how many "people" are you talking to?? your 4 diehard friends who have phillies tattoos right next to their cheesesteak tat?

the who was easy to get tickets because they're old and it's not the same show... tix were easily gotten in boston and there was no baseball reason

    some people choose pearl jam
    some people choose baseball

but logical people figure they can go to the pearl jam show... and then catch a recap or DVR of the game

if it was game 7 then maybe you'd have more of an argument

now that i think about it

i think the disagreement here is that you're talking to a bunch of pearl jam diehards and we're thinking of it from our view

but you're talking about philly locals who like pearl jam but love the phillies - right now they figure why not go to a concert at the spectrum before they blow it up

but if these people had to choose... they'd pick the world series since pearl jam doesn't mean the world to them

    anyway

    go red sox ;)

    Ummmm.....

Do you have any idea how hard it will be to be at a concert with 20,000 people and not hear one person mention the score to a World Series game? Especially if it's your home team.....Are you even being serious with this right now?

And what's with the "people" or me having "4 diehard friends?" I was just pointing something out for people who didn't get tickets.

Yeah, considering Ed gave out the Phils Mets score and the Red Sox Yanks score on stage during his first solo gig at the Tower this year.

huh, would of never thought of that. Eh, I can't stand all the games that go on with procuring tics. I've seen PJ plenty of times..I rather give new fans the chance.
