Anybody think 14 teams is too many for a league? Let's just say our league is the bee's knees and we're in high demand to expand from a 12 team league to a 14 team league.

14 teams does seem like too many teams. My friends and I do a 12 team league and that seems like a lot at times. Never really heard of a 14 team league. There would definitely be some people stuck starting some shitty players.
Well, that's the thing. We were looking to reduce our rounds anyway, so I was thinking of taking away a position in the lineup - like we start a flex TE/WR position and I was thinking of getting rid of that.

Yeah, this is what I find to be the best as well. I just don't feel like being a dick to a couple people - namely one being my dad. He's split a team with my uncle the past 3 years, and is sick of it.
i want to try a 16 team leauge. My theory is the cream rises to the top in a deep league. Ie the good fantasy managers will win, vs a crap shoot in a smaller league dumb luck can sometimes carry you
I've done a 14 team league and it was doable. You just have to do your research and hit the waiver wire fast. Also maybe give more points to special team such as kick return yards, that will allow a few more receivers to be used and thrown into the player pool.
