This story fucking cracks me up.
Townsfolk hear strange and alarming noises from Masonic Temple (notorious for having no windows),
call the cops.
Cops bust meeting, arrest 14 Freemasons, who are self described in the article as "senior members of society".
Masons in article call the police "bungling", claim "unlimited power" given to them and subsequently used with "no judgment or sense of balance".
The masons (anonymous [ashamed?]), in fact, attribute the entire incident to "dopey village people", to the overwhelmingly stupid "whim of an uneducated villager."
Ouch.
Sucks that the "senior members of society" are now, themselves, being harassed and thrown in jail by the overwhelmingly stupid and uneducated worker drones who are now all globally reeling punchdrunk with glee in their new found "unlimited" powers apparent. Oh the sad twisted self-destroying drama of the global eco-nanny-police state.
Oooh.
The Skull!
The Masonic Order, Skull & Bones, The Order of Death.
Remember, Hitler's SS (2 sun symbol runes) was the Order of the Death's Head
Every "good" masonic lodge has to have a skull. Very important. Must be in the room for highest level meetings. Hence, Skull & Bones which poses entrance to the "highest" levels of American power elite.

A New Zealand man spent a "wretched" night in a Fiji prison cell after frightened residents and police raided his Freemasons meeting, suspecting witchcraft and sorcery.
The man, who didn't want to be named, blamed "dopey village people" for the raid in which 14 members of the Freemasons Lodge of Lautoka were herded into police cars and jailed for the night.
Police also seized lodge paraphernalia, including wands, compasses and a skull.
Yesterday, the man told the Herald that Tuesday night's meeting was "interrupted by a banging on the door and there were these village people and the police demanding to be let in".
Nothing sinister had been going on but "such is the nature of life in Fiji" they were taken to a nearby police station, he said.
The Masons were told nothing of the allegations against them, but were warned that under Fiji's emergency decree, they could be jailed for 48 hours without charge.
The lodge secretary showed police a copy of the permit allowing the meeting, but was told the permit was not the problem.
The commanding police officer then disappeared, leaving the 14 men to spend the night in the cells.
"It was hot and wasn't very comfortable, because there was nowhere to lie down," the man said. "The officers who were guarding us were pleasant, though, chatting away to us."
At 8.30am yesterday, an officer let them go, saying the Prime Minister's office had ordered they be released.
The man said he was outraged that overly suspicious villagers had been able to convince police to "totally abuse their power".
He said the police should have told the villagers to calm down.
"The stupidity is overwhelming. Virtually unlimited power is placed in the hands of bungling police, who have no judgment or sense of balance, so, at the whim of an uneducated villager, 14 senior members of society had to spend a night locked up."
A police spokesman said the men were arrested because police had been tipped off that a meeting was being held and there were "some strange goings-on".
Oooh.

yes, you're right my friend.
it is a shame that so much talent from so many of society's "senior members" is wasted on such stupid hokkus pokkus as magic wands, human skulls, mock murders, symbolism, and secrecy.
Wouldn't the world truly be a better place if they focused on honest and open efforts to promote intellectual understanding among the masses and a brotherhood of man founded upon REAL understanding of the worlds workings? Oh but we can't have that now, can we? This is the REAL world, huh? Only an iron fist, a strong government, secret rules, hidden power structures, is enough to keep us all safe.
???

Here, i found George HW Bush's hat, and focused in on that for you:

Actually, it was Lorenzo who said this (C's father).
o right right. thank you.
I happen to like Drifting's post. I guess cos I enjoy reading about stuff like that.
the not-so-cute part is that Fiji, where this happened, is under military rule. and as the article mentions about a permit needed for having a meeting, things are kept pretty tight, and police/army can at any time barge in and arrest anyone for 48 hours. That this was used to break up a masonic meeting by scared local people is a bit amusing though, I'll admit that.
Peace
