As much as I would love for this to happen (although I rather it be the 28th thru the 31 just so there is less time taken off from work), I gotta think it would be hard to sell out 4 shows after all the 10clubbers are spoken for....I mean it's not like it's NYC or something
I do agree... I think 3 would be enough for Pj in Philly otherwise one of the shows isn't going to be sold out by a long shot.
People up in NYC are trying to buy tickets for the Spectrum shows as well . . . they havent announced any shows for NY this year.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wachovia_Spectrum - ok somewhere betwen 15, 000 and 19, 000 let's say. Even with the New Yorkers trying I would say 3 would possibly make all the 10c people happy and the majority of the general public content.
I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you

the shithole in camden holds about 30k i think... they typically sell out 2 nights there during a full blown tour... so i am thinking 60,000 tickets is not that much of an issue if your not playing any where else on the east coast 1 month after a new album release
the 31st is definite, but i would not be shocked to see a tuesday show added as well

Close, Camden holds 25,000.
I mean in 03, PJ sold out two Camdens and a Spectrum so that's approximately 65,500 tix. So selling four nights at the Spectrum isn't inconceivable.

...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
I heard from a very reliable source that the band will only do shows in Philly from here on out. In fact, another reliable source said the guys are going to save the Spectrum from being destroyed, and that's the only venue they'll play. Additionally, Stone called me and said "We're playing the entire catalogue in Philly over four days at the end of October".

especially considering there are no other east coast dates set only 1 month after an album release
i bet they would release tuesday first... sell it out.. then announce the saturday show as the last event ever at the spectrum, and that would sell out in minutes
Part of me thinks that 3 nights would be a repeat of Boston from 2003. But 4 nights would be just typical crappy Camden shows, repeating half the songs from night to night, scratching rarities from the setlist at the last minute because someone in the sixth row has a "given to fly" sign even though they've played it already the first 3 nights.
If we get 4 nights like the Wachovia Center in 2005, then I am all for it!

I also hear him say that they were going to play the entire catalog over 4 days in October at the Spectrum. Then, since 11/1, 11/2, 11/3, and 11/4 were open, he said they were going to try to top what they did in Mansfield and play the whole catalog acoustically at the Spectrum. This is all from a very reliable source.
