Yeah,
my buddy just consoled me on my loss.
I'm sad about not getting to see PJ close out the Spectrum.
Anyone who was at the last show there should be able to tell you that it was probably the loudest most insane crowd response for a PJ show ever. (no lie, imho)
That being said,
The upshot for all of us who got shut out of PJ in Philly is that
JANES ADDITION and FLAMING LIPS are playing VODOO FESTIVAL in NEW ORLEANS,
(and the MEAT PUPPETS)
the same set of days.
Get your tickets people,
and live it up in one of the most insanely fun cities in America (and my birth place, yay!)
