Never been to SD but it was the closest and cheapest for me being from Salt Lake. Im looking for a local brewery type place with good chicken wings close to the arena. WHERE IS THE PARTY AT!?

  • Viejas (formerly Cox) Arena is on the San Diego State University campus. No brewpubs in the immediate area that I know of, but definitely some wings-and-beer college bars within walking distance.

  • Viejas Arena is on the campus of San Diego State University. There are places to eat all around the school environs.
Everyone is born, but not everyone is born the same. Some will grow to be butchers, or bakers, or candlestick makers. Some will only be really good at making Jell-O salad. One way or another, though, every human being is unique, for better or for worse.

The one behind the venue by 711 is perfect! I don't know what its called but I remember there being a bar there that looked cool.

your best bet is to head to mission valley (less then 10min from arena) before the show, plenty of places there to eat and drink. only good place near arena is woodstocks pizza

Mcgreggors Bar is right on the trolley line in Mission Valley that will drop you off at SDSU.

Effins is down the street from SDSU.

SDSU has a pub but it prob won't be open that late.

4.0 Deli has beer but not really a bar.

**** I went to SDSU so I know where all the bars are located...hahaha

Keep your eyes out for a dork with a PJ Mariners jersey. I here he will be back down in his old home town to see the boys.

I will have you know that there will be an intergalactic kegger going on in my belly that night. So if you want to know where the real party is at, its in my belly, but thats really not accessible. Second best place I would say is McGregors. That previous post about living 5ft from there. You must live at the 7/11 next door. Did you sell me a slurpee and a 40 the other night. I live 8ft away. But back to the point at hand. McGregors is the shit. I think there needs to be a PJ Prefunk Partay there. I was going to make a post the other day to see if there was going to be any 10 clubbin goin' on that night. I think we found our alpha base. Jager bombs for everyone.

Theres always dave and busters down the street. Video Games and Alcohol always mix.

Aw nice! I was probably walking out of 7-11 with some killer nachos @ 2am...of course, rockin a PJ tee

Dave and Busters isn't on a trolley line so I would say Mcgreggors is a solid spot....5 second walk to the trolley.

Hah! There's suggestions for a Dave and Busters pre-party in this sweet thread, so you and your M's away jersey should fit right in.

Glad to hear you're coming down. SD will be a classic as always.
