So, I let a young fellow who is currently in college talk me into helping him out with yet another paper the other day, a 15-pager at that!!
It is for a marketing class and must be related to some marketing problem. The first thing that came to my mind was the drastic decline in CD sales and what the industry is trying to do to get back on its feet and how bleak to looks for the big companies (or at least I think it does)
Anyway, anyone have any suggestions on where to find some good articles, record industry stuff and actual numbers showing the drastic decline? Also, if there's any way we can work PJ into the paper that might help me not to feel like such a punk for agreeing to help him!!
I swore I was done with homework and papers 10 years ago...once again, I've been made a liar

All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

All those articles come by way of Techdirt.com (http://techdirt.com/), a thought-provoking site with an often-critical take on technology news. On occasion, Techdirt even mentions Pearl Jam:

But here's another interesting read. It's a speech given by U2's longterm manager about how he sees technology threatening the music industry. I don't know U2's stance on the matter, but they are hosting the text of his speech on their website.
