Hate Groups -

Is anyone on this forum familiar with the Southern Poverty Law Center? They're probably most well known for their surveillance and tracking of hate groups like the Aryan Nations, KKK, Nation of Islam, etc. They won a lawsuit last fall against a klan group in Kentucky where the victim was a Latino-American who was nearly beaten to death at a county fair. They're also the group that put together the report about potential right-wing extremism among members of the military.

    I love that rednecks were all upset about that report acting like no Americans could ever be dangerous... right before that old nut walked into the Holocaust museum to go Jew huntin and another nut murdered an abortion doctor in church. But NOOOO... American Christians can NEVER be extremist, only them damn Islams!

    It sickens me that Homeland Security retracted this report (which started under BUSH'S watch) because fucking republicans were offended. Yet the right wing seems it has all the leeway in the world to talk about how the left is nothing but extremists, etc etc etc. Its... Terrible. I'm a target of these hate groups as well because I am transgender... I found that out a hard, painful way. I find it horrifying that one side of political spectrum thinks it outrageous that a report was made on the groups who want me dead because of who I am. (I also find it horrifying that this same group thinks hate crimes are unneeded and if we DO have them, I should not be included and Christians should be top priority. Though, this is a smaller group who says this.)

    I'm very bitter at this issue. Please note that I am not attacking republicans as a whole (mostly the politicians) or anyone for being republican... I am just VERY upset over this issue.

    I still can't believe that ANYONE thought it was Bin laden and Al Qaeda or Saddam Hussein... like Bin laden or Hussein even gave a shit about Daschle or Leahy... hell, i bet 75% of Americans didn't have a clue who Tom Fucking Daschle was.

    Well, you know that the Enquirer does glamorize our decadent lifestyle with all them pretty pictures of barely dressed sweet young things......honestly...when the planes were hitting the buildings, I thought those responsible were probably out of the McVeigh/Rudolph camp....our own Cracker terrorists.

    What makes someone become transgender? I'm curious as to what the thought pattern is so I'm not talking the physical sense I'm asking about the mental side.

    I know it isn't as simple as a boy playing with girl toys or a girl being a tomboy. There is something else going on. Please explain.
