help...what is BLOCK CONFIGURATION in the profile edit?

I was just editing my profile info. THere is one section that says "want emails" or something with a check box next to it. Then there's another section that has this with check boxes next to it:

Block configuration
__latest_music: Block
__recent_news: Block
__Current concerts

Am I supposed to check or uncheck those boxes? Yes, I want emails about latest music, recent news and current concerts. Or is that something totally unrelated.

For the record, my email address seems to have been dropped off the 10C mass emails for at least the last year and a half. I don't get any emails when there's a new tour announced, not even when I order something and they used to send the confirmation email. Nothing. So I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to get those emails again. Help if you know. And yes, I have tons of filters set up on my yahoo account to filter any thing and everything with Pearl jam in it to the inbox.

When I contacted 10C about a year ago their idea was to get a new email address, because they've had trouble with Yahoo. Um.....no. Everyone else can get emails to me, the problem is obviously on their end.

    i get emails from 10c to my yahoo account so the problem is obviously on your end...

    I think it's just how you can choose what will be displayed on your home page when you log in.

    There are tons of people around here who never get the emails. It's Ten Club. Just cause YOU are one of the lucky ones who get them...

    Ahh, scb I think you are right...it is just for the home page. After I log in the news items usually disappear from view.

    Now there is a cool Pearl Jam fan who's not just an asshole.

    whats funny is back when i first joined the 10c in 06 i never got emails from the 10c. i forgot to renew in march 07, so i was like oh well fuck it, no biggie. then outta nowhere i start getting emails from the 10c. now that i'm in the 10c again, i'm not getting emails from them.
