Staying at the Best Western $94 a night
As for hotels, use Priceline. Someone posted this morning that they got a 3.5 star hotel in Seattle, Friday through Wednesday for $60 or $65. Can't beat that.
thats a pretty sweet deal!

Great prices but im kinda worried about a hotel room for $60 a night.....i wonder how good a 3.5 star is there.

Night 1: Courtyard Marriott - VERY clean, Big Flat Screen TV, King Size Bed, a door that led out to the pool- VERY nice place. Regular price was around $150
Night 2: Doubletree - I had to wait over an hour for my room when I arrived, AC in room was broken, light in bathroom was out, the bathroom floor was so sticky- I didn't want to walk around barefoot in there, when I got back to the hotel from the show- the cable was VERY fuzzy on the TV- non flat screen by the way, could not request a King size bed- all they had was two doubles, parking suck- and when I called the front desk to tell them about the AC and light- the lady practically hung up on me. Regular price was around $160 a night. I actually just sent an email to them yesterday about my stay. Doubt I will hear anything back though
The funny thing is, I thought that the Doubletree would had been the better of the two places. The reason I had two places to begin with was because I booked them separately- night 1 was a last minute thing
So basically after all that, yes it's a risk, but I think 99% of the time when you go with a 3.5-4 star hotel on priceline or hotwire you will be happy. I will always go through one of those places from now on when I travel.

This is what you'd get in downtown Seattle, Priceline - 3.5 stars.
Seattle Marriott Waterfront http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/seawf
Renaissance Seattle Hotel http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/seasm
Silver Cloud Hotel Broadway http://www.silvercloud.com/14home.htm
And even if you drop to 3 stars, you are looking at hotels like the Crowne Plaza.
You have to get over the price. $60 is a GREAT DEAL. You are getting a $200 room for $60. You aren't getting a $60 room for $60.
