so sad to see Roy leaving

so happy to know that Roy will finally get the recognition he deserves with a contender

if we was pitching in either NY or Bos all these years, we would all be hearing HOF talk already

I think the header is wrong. Shouldn't it be "Blue Jays won't let teams negotiate with Halladay til after the 31st"?

That doesn't make any sense because then it becomes a waiver trade, and I don't see that.

Halladay has no trade clause. Halladay might wanna lock up a contract extension before approving a trade, now he can't. They can do the trade, but there won't be a guarantee they can lock him up beyond next season.

Halladay has already been quoted saying he doesn't worry as much about a contract extension - like if he was a younger player - as he does being able to play for a contender.

If he has been pitching for Ny or Bos all these years, the guy would already have about 200 wins and five Cy-Youngs.
