Advice on getting Philly tickets

Just looking for thoughts/advice on which way I should go for Philly tickets
My 10c number is 409XXX and I really only need 1 ticket

Can't decide if I should try for 10c tickets or just go with the public sale

I know getting tickets thru 10c is going to be tough but what about the public onsale

I usually go to shows solo and have found it is easier when I'm just getting 1 ticket

Plus the Spectrum tickets are sold thru Comcast tix and I've never had much trouble getting tickets thru their site (aside from the hour it took for Springsteen)

10C....Always, always, always, 10C. Actually, wait - nah, I think you should go Comcast. Do it.

If I were going solo, I would try to grab a single from the public sale. Even if you miss out or don't get anything good at first, you could always try when the show gets closer and more tickets drop.

i'd say give the 10c presale a whirl. if you score, you'll definitely be able to find someone to take the extra ticket off your hands. and conversely, if you miss out, there will be people here - who have good numbers - offering up extras.

(possibly myself included, if there's a show added for the 31st.)

If you only need one ticket you should go through the public on sale through Comcast. Why spend the extra money on a pair if you only need one? It is going to be a nightmare here tomorrow when Philly tickets go on sale. I'm going to try for both shows but I'll probably get shut out and end up going through Comcast.

Is buying tickets through Comcast similar to Ticketmaster/Live Nation? Does their server crash?

If I only needed one, I'd just let this all blow over and visit the board in October for an extra fan club ticket.

Worst case scenario that fails and you walk to the venue that day and get a ticket for pennies on the dollar.

    Yes -- it's worse.

Looks like I'm going to have to sell an organ or my first born child in order to get tickets to these Philly shows!! Hell, I'll do whatever it takes...I have to be there.

I have had success getting single tickets REALLY close to the stage in the past. Not every time, but some times.

Also, if you go to stubhub, ticktetsnow, etc, you can usually find a single ticket for decent prices.

Having a 10c seat is good, as they are usually pretty good tickets, however, that is a pretty high number. You can probably do just as good on other sites.

I wish 10 c woudl allow single tickets sometimes. I know there are some that go unused.

Yea it's a mess...i remember trying to get springsteen tix through them...they put you in a que before you're even able to get in and select what kind of tickets you want...i was on the instant they went on sale and waited almost 1/2 hour just to get in and of course was shut out.

Don't sweat it. I remember freaking out when I lost the Philly shows lottery on Ed's solo tour, and by the time of the show, I could have had a 10-C seat from at least ten different people on this board who posted about having extras.

After the instant-sellout public sale, balcony seats were going for like $200 on Ebay. By the week of the show, people here couldn't give them away.

And there are about 10 times as many Spectrum tickets (in total) than there were for Vedder.

Yeah I'm pretty sure this board's posting guidelines preclude human trafficking.
