VH1 hits a new low

Even for me. I ususally like those reality shows, even though Daisy of Love is a bit to much, now this.

    What the hell happened to that channel?

    I used to watch it a decent amount when they played music... I don't think that I've watched it for more than 5 minutes in the last few years. Every time I turn it on it's a stupid reality show or some "worst of the 80's" crap type of show.

    haha, my wife and i are in the bag for most sunday/monday night vh1 programming and when we saw this promo and that it was getting the coveted 9pm Sunday slot, we were both psyched. We like Megan and her conniving bitchy ways. That being said, my line of thinking is this...The type of man she's targeting probably doesn't need to put up her gold digging, laying-on-the-beach-all-day-never-doing-shit shit. If they want a girl like that, well, i'm sure it's not too difficult to swing as a millionaire. How is she going to react?? The guys may actually quit in droves faster than on Daisy. And Daisy's show is horrible car crash we can't turn away from. EVERY week she keeps THE WRONG GUY and suffers for it the next week. My wife thought it'd be great if at the end of the show she just hooked up with Riki since he probably loves her the most.

    Much like MTV went the way of the reality show and MTV2 was the only place to see videos ..

    VH1 has done the same, and you need to hit up VH1-Classic to see anything worth watching musically.

    VH-1's string of reality shows are really terrible. I remember the good old days of video's and VH-1's Stand Up Spotlight comedy shows.....those days are long gone!

    Some of those guys were on the Millionaire matchmaker show on Bravo. Yes I will admit that openly. I will tivo and fast forward through the parts that irritate me.

    boy what the hell is up with picking like the most scuzziest guys??? :? that list is full of either douche-bags or thugs...
    i'm also quite upset with the fact that mtv and vh1 went from cool music channels to just channels full of reality shows and their numerous spin-offs. although i must say i do love those "i love the [insert decade here]" shows 8-) i like remembering things! (though, of course, i only remember things from the mid 90s on..)

    actually... I was sick and forced to stay home and I watched MTV and saw some of the most horrific shows of all time.
    16 and Pregnant about some of the stupidest fucking people in the world... and worse... a show where self-entitled little shitheads show off their parent's house... like they were the ones who've earned it.
    I am SURE that both of these shows are used as al Qaeda recruitment tools to show why America needs to be wiped from the face of the earth. And seriously... it's tough to argue.

    ahaha so true, Daisy of love is a guilty pleasure for my boyfriend and I too, and I shamefully admit to watching a little I love New York too :shock: theyre just so bad... its hard to turn away!

    So, I saw that Daisy couldn't let Flex go and brought him to Maui also. She is sooooo stupid, just pick FLEX and get it over with. OK, so he gets his little temper going, I would to, having to put up with that shit. He was one of the hottest ones, just pick him already. 12 pack next, but he's been on shows before (I guess she has too, just not as many) and London is plain stupid.

    And Megan, oh my GAAAAWWWDDDD this will be horrible. I will probably watch some of it though. What's next, The Ashley and Farrah show???

    I too enjoy watching this stupid shit. Won't be surprised if there is an Ashley and Farah show. But up next is Real Chance of Love II, talk about a couple of douche bags. I am a male and am looking forward to seeing Megan in bikinis again. Don't know about the TO show, I really can't stand that guy and would hate to contribute to his popularity. Daisy is clearly one of the stupidest people and I hope she goes with 12-Pack but think she'll end up with London because their intelligence is on an equal level. Was rooting for Sinister until last week.

    Holy crap, don't know why I like this crap but to each their own.

    And VH1 does still open the day with a plethora of crappy music videos. Which is a good description for most music videos, crappy! Thank goodness these channels have removed them all from regular rotation. Music videos were fun to watch like 25 years ago.

    The reality shows wouldn't be so bad if they were at least believable. Seriously, the overly dramatic confrontions and over the top personalities, so fake and so lame.

    Again I don't know why but I find that interesting. Of course you never know if it's all scripted. I like the fakeness and lameness it's the only 'garbage' that I regularly watch on TV. Usually I'll be watching sports or something like Discovery Channel. I do watch Comedy Central too, have to watch South Park. Just my tastes I understand that these shows are stupid but there are millions of viewers out there that think differently.

    Yes, that's when VH1 was good. I also enjoyed the behind the music series. I think they still play that on VH1C
