Help a dummy out here. When to log on...

for the pre-sale today. I'm in the central time zone. According to the time-conversion website I consulted, it will be 4:00 here when it is 2:00 PDT, so I should log on at 4:00, right? I'm skeered I'll screw this up and miss out. We'll be driving all the way to LA from Texas if I get lucky enough to score tickets. So am I correct - log on at 4:00? Sorry I'm a dumb ass.

not a dummy at all, i do this to myself every pre-sale. i get it right, then convince myself that i'm wrong because i'm so skeered of missing out.

For most of the on sales, log on a few minutes prior to the listed sale time. For Philly, log on three minutes after.

The sale STARTS at 4:00 your time (for the Oct 6 show). Log on a little before that or you may be SOL.

That's a longass drive, too... depending on which side of the state you're on. When I lived in Houston, hitting El Paso meant you were almost halfway to CA... half the trip in the same state!

You're right! I believe El Paso is the halfway point between Dallas and San Diego.

The better question is, let's say you're thinking you want Night 4 as your 10Club tix. how dangerous is sitting through the pre-sales for the other 3 shows? and how logical is waiting for the last night=best night? def. sometimes its that next to last night on a long run that shines through. i'm so conflicted

I'd pass on the first one, and wait to hear back from people about how the experience was. If it was brutal - I would say get what you can!
