Just got the Westin Seattle for a $65 bid on Priceline for Monday and Tuesday nights. Just bid $65 for a 4 star in Downtown - Pike Place and you should get this. Just a heads up for anyone looking for a hotel. :)

    Very nice deal! Westin's are great hotels.We stayed at the westin in memphis for ed's show.Top notch facility.Stayed at the westin in 2003 for the tampa pj show also.I love westin's :D
    But most everyone is trying to stay here.

    We can walk to the show's from here and the space needle is right outside the window ;)
    Plus the EMP is right there too.
    But you made a nice choice in the westin,plus it's right by pike place.
    I would just rather be able to walk to the show's and back for the 3 nights i'll be there.
    We will cab it down to pike place sometime.

    We're trying for Friday - Wednesday .. not sure they'd give it to us for that long of a stay

    I just got it for Monday and Tuesday. It's worth a shot though. The lowest (pre-paid) rate through Westin's site is $199/night. :o

    I'm doing Friday- Wednesday and got The Renaissance Seattle Hotel for a 71 bid. its at 3.5* but looks pretty nice, cant complain at all. If you wait closer to the date you could probably get the Weston for 65, I don't think they like to fill up alot of dates this far in advance

    I would book sooner rather then later. Not only will the Yankees be in town the weekend before the shows, but USC plays at Washington that Saturday before the show too.

    Thanks a lot for this info. I went ahead and bid $65 and sure enough I got the Westin. Even with the ridiculous parking rates in downtown Seattle it's still a better deal than the Best Western or any other hotel in the area. The total ends up being $81 including fees.

    No problem. I think I started at $50/night and used my free re-bids (using areas that do not have 4 star hotels) and increasing in $5 increments. At one point I was given the option of increasing my bid by $17. F that. I knew I was close at that point. :lol:

    Just wnet through this process myself. I started at 59 or so and incremented by a dollar until it was acceppted at 65. Looks like 65 is the number. Also I was trying to get a stay from Saturday thru Wednesday and I went up to 70 on that bid without acceptance. Looks like Saturday is the kicker.

    Anybody have any suggesstions for a place to stay on Saturday?? I was leaning toward the green tortoise for price and atmosphere but would be open to suggesstions. Thanks a lot.

    Those of us who booked this Westin deal should also try to meet up. I for one am flying solo which is no fun

    Sweet deal, I am coming in Friday night so I reserved a $240/night room for Fri and Sat at the Westin, I could've got cheaper but I paid for the view. Then I got the priceline deal for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday for $65/night. It averages out at $135/night, which I am more than happy to pay for a 4 star hotel. :D
    I reserved Fri and Sat on my CC, just in case. ;)

    Don't know if this will help anyone but...

    We are also staying at the Westin. Starwood is currently running a promotion where if you stay at their properties you can earn a free weekend night at any of their hotels)

    If you are a Starwood member or have stayed in their hotels recently, it is worth checking out and calling and talking to someone about it-they may even be able to backdate you if you didn't sign up. We were able to get FRI/SAT/SUN (18-20) for free.

    I just got the Renaissance for $65 from Friday-Wednesday. This hotel is an excellent deal. Just use these details: Seattle Downtown and 3.5 Star.

    Thanks for the heads up. Was looking at The Westin in general already, but then saw this and got it for $65/night as well. Saved me about $200. . .thanks. Very excited . . .now if only it wasn't 2 months away. . . .

    That's a very good deal. Looks like the Friday or Saturday check-in is going to be a deal breaker with the 4 star Westin. I will likely jump in on this deal too.

    Booked the Westin, 65/night (does anyone know how much parking is), was 157 for the sunday/monday nights (we're heading back to vancouver after the 2nd show).

    I suppose I have to call the westin and see if I can get a room with two beds lol.. or it could get awkward.
