Shipping $8.50 for Fixer 7"?

Why is the shipping price $8.50 for the Fixer 7" single while the shipping price for the entire 12"LP
is $7.50. What's the logic? The shipping is more than the price of the $5.99 single.

    my only guess is that the fixer comes out aug 24 which is pretty soon, so they will be paying a little more for priority shipping to get it to you by then. if you dont like it, dont buy it! so simpo!

    It has to be a mistake. The xmas singles are only like $4 to ship? Even the oversized 2003 one. Unless theres something special with this thing. Its not much money in total, but for some reason I have a problem with $8.50

    I bought the cd and the Lp. I would have bought the 7" had it not been for this.
