Positive Post: Who is ready to rock with the boys?

I know there is stress with the upcoming release of tickets and new albumn, but wanted to know who is ready to put a smile on and rock with the boys.

PJ & 10C has been kind to me over the past 15 years and i would like to say thanks. Just trying to throw a positive vibe to this experience.

I am heading to both Chicago shows and, god willing, Spectrum shows. Hope to see some of you there.

    I'm beyond ready to rock with the boys! Going to the Toronto show (my hometown), and got no tickets yet for Chicago, but I'll find a way... after all, this is Pearl Jam - one of the greatest live acts ever :mrgreen:

    I am in for 2 shows in Chicago and hope to score 2 shows in Philly. I have to say that over the last few years the boys and Ten Club have offered me the chance to see multiple shows of my favorite band up close and personal. If anyone is viewing, I just wanted to say Thanks.

    I'm SO ready! Haven't seen them since 2006. WAAAAAAY overdue! I'm psyched beyond belief... 2 hometown shows (Seattle), new album, the whole concert scene and seeing my PJ buddies. Hell, even Jeremy is going to sound like the first time I heard it live at this point. :lol:

    And YAY positive thoughts.

    I am with you all! Can't wait to see them. I am getting married on the 12th, going to Cabo for a week and then take my new bride to her first show. She likes Pearl Jam but is not a huge huge fan like myself, but after seeing them live she will be a convert to the religious experience of seeing the best band on the earth live!!! :D:D:D

    Can't wait for my 2 nights in Chicago. I am taking a friend who is a fan, but has never seen them live before. I am almost counting down the days. Pre-ordering all the stuff today only made the urge worse!!!

    There are only a small handful of positive threads on here -- I say keep them alive! Just like you guys I've got a major jones going to see PJ again -- I've only seen them doing their show once, and then open for U2 a week later .... back in '06! Since then I've seen Eddie FOUR times solo (without leaving my state), and though each time was spectacular, I am so excited for the new tour I'm completely willing to wait for a show in Hawaii (not to mention actual confirmation for such a show!) Devil horns crossed. So yeah I can't wait to finally see Mike and Jeff and Matt and Stone rock again! (also Boom, my personal Hawaiian hero, though he played with Eddie all those four times, and I was lucky to hear him play at all of them)

    So let's think happy thoughts, and try to restore

    I also have to add that how FUCKING LUCKY are we to have the Ten Club? People on other threads, show a little gratitude. Also a little thankfulness for a band that has, for twenty years, given us all something to look forward to. It's posts like this that make me feel better about my fellow fans. Keep the peace!

    Hey Animal,

    I'm with you pal. Got two tickets to Seattle and one for London sitting proud in my 'orders' history. No fucker's gonna take those away from me. I think I will just log in every morning and look at my 'orders' page simply to inhale the sweet positivity. You know when you get that shiny new car you've been saving and working for and next morning open your front door and just look it up and down from your porch? That's 2 x seattle 2009 in the order history!

    In the years since 93 so many things have jumped out to get in the way of me seeing pearl jam, especially away from the UK. I've managed 4 shows, but I can still see the Vancouver 2003 tickets I was unable to use sitting in my orders as a reminder of the unexpected catastrophe that's always waiting in the wings.

    I'm not counting my chickens; just feel a thrill in the air this time, quiet confidence. My good seattle friends are making up my usual room for the ten days, my boss is processing my leave application, I'm gonna try and keep out of trouble til September!

    All being well we'll all be watching the best band on the planet in the most charming metropolis there is, right at the beginning of america's latest renaissance.

    This is the good part; it gets much worse than this guys, trust me. If you're not happy now you may never be happy!
