It's probably been mentioned a few times, but honestly I can't seem to find a related post so I'm going to ask now. What are the prices for the pair of tix?

Thanks

  • is it just me or is pearl jam exponentially getting more expensive with each tour? I gotta admit... these prices are just really high, and I would think being a 10C member.. I wouldn't be spending this type of cash for these shows. It's gonna cost me over $300 just for tix to Philly, let alone the traveling cost....

I gotta think the prices of the Philly show have more to do with the venue and forces outside of the band's control than PJ actually trying to rape it's fan base... sucks, but you always have the option to not go.
I smile, but who am I kidding...

Your absolutely right, but spending $100-$120 for a pair a tour or two back is a huge difference then $167 a pair. I'm still going .. but I do have the right to voice my opinion and say that the prices are really expensive!

I feel ya. I've had the same argument in my head. That's a lot of cash. Personally, I have a ton of Spectrum memories from growing up in suburban Philly (thoughest cul de sac in my development) so I'm willing to spend a little extra to say goodbye in style. Is someone taking advantage of that to make some money? Absolutely. And I wouldn't fault anyone for not paying those prices - after all, they have to eventually have a 'proper' tour to support Backspacer, so they'll probably be coming back soon. I guess in the end it just comes down to the value you think you'll get for your money. If you aren't sure it's worth that much walk away and live to rock another day.

For sure, the spectrum is closing soon and me and a buddy were wondering if Pearl Jam will be the final band to play there.. which in itself will be well worth the money especially if that includes really good seats! I just hope this trend doesn't continue.

    Peace, and enjoy the show!
