Temple Of The Dog "Hunger Strike"

I used to have an mp3 track where Eddie did a rendition of Hunger Strike and at the end of the song He say's "I wish Chris (cornell) was here to hear that!". (Or something to that effect).

Does anyone know where I can find this version of hunger strike. Is it on any of the official boots?

    I've never heard of PJ having performed Hunger Strike at the Unplugged show.

    Question for ya. Do you remember If they play the song in it's entireity or do they just play a few minutes & then Ed says something to that effect. If that's the case I remember hearing that myself. I would have to look but I may have that on some old boot & I think It's a import boot not released by PJ. LMK & I can check for ya.

    I don't think it was an outtake and I'm fairly certain it was (the song) performed completely. I am certain it was a live performance though. If anyone can provide information on this I'd really appreciate it.

    i have a boot simply labeled Tivoli that someone gave me....and it is during that show. i dont know from what year (def early on) or even where it is. towards the end of the show it seems like the rest of the guys head off stage and the crowd starts chanting "Hunger Strike" to eddie. eddie then says, ok i will sing it if you sing it along with me. they sing a few verses together, and after it he says that line about cornell.

    I had a song that has since been lost somewhere on a computer. It was in England from the early 90's. The crowd called for Hunger Strike. Eddie sang it solo and the crowd sang the other part. It only lasted a minute or so. Then Eddie said that he would play it for Chris, and the band then started playing Black and I think Eddie dedicated it someone for their birthday. It was a less than stellar recording, but Eddie sounded awesome.

    There is a vinyl bootleg on ebay quite often called 5 Alive, mostly sold on red vinyl with a bootleg concert from 1992 and that bootleg has hunger strike. Its only like 2 minutes long with mention of Cornell at the end of it. New Castle, England on Feb. 22, 1992. You can confirm this by looking at the 1992 setlists on the PJ site. It was that show.
