What's with Non-Weekend Concert Dates???

Yeah, so what's with almost none of the announced show dates being on weekends? Anyone who doesn't live in the area will have to take off from work to see the shows, which is kind of a pain in the arse. WTF Eddie? (j slask k-ing with the WTF BTW)

I live in San Francisco.. and for me to get to the Seattle or LA would be like a 9 (13 to Seattle) hour drive... I'm not saying, I'm just sayin'... toss me a friggin bone here, haha.

I guess maybe it's cheaper to book these places on weeknights maybe...Has it always been this way?

  • Yes it is cheaper to rent the venues on a weeknight. Keeps the ticket prices lower for all of us. PJ have often done this in the past, especially in larger cities

    i'd guess out of all the concerts i have seen in my life...and there are MANY.....most were weeknights. it's fairly common honestly, whether pearl jam or any other bands. it IS great when you get that rare weekend gig, but you bet, it is rare...
