Dual Laser cd/dvd

This would be cool if PJ put the new album on this new technology. This technology has not caught on yet maybe because the disc is too thick for car stereo but plays well in home theaters. One disc with audio on one side and video on the other side, one disc. They tried this format with Michael Jackson(Vissionary series) a few years back but never caught on. What do think? :?:

The best part about some Dual Discs is that they have 5.1 surround mixes of the albums. Unfortunately, that is something I don't see Pearl Jam trying any time soon. Given their love for analog and vinyl. I'm a bit of an audiophile so I loved the SACD and DVD-A formats that failed a few years ago. Most people just don't care about sound quality. The slow death of CD in favor of mp3 downloads is proof of it. Very few people just sit in their house and do nothing but listen to music. Which was the intention of those failed formats.
