What the DEVIL???!!!!
More importantly, that is one pimped out profile picture you got there!
Bruce never has an opener.
I like the Boss, but I hope this rumor isn't true. I want a full-blown PJ show on the 31st!
My friend from undergrad's dad is VERY high up in Bruce's circle. I'll see if I can find anything out.
oooh! yes! please do! i don't have anything against Springsteen... but i was REALLY falling in love with the idea of the tailgate/show on the 31st and if the rumor is true that would totally change the atmosphere.
Eddie Vedder solo: 2008 - Boston night 1 & 2 || 2009 - Albany, NY night 1 & 2 || 2011 - Hartford, CT, Boston, MA
I want a PJ Halloween show sooooo badly.
It would be VERY anti-climactic to have PJ's last appearance of the tour be an opening slot.
agreed. i think we may though. think about it. normally when pj does a 2 night stand in a city, it is back to back nights. why would pj play the 28 and then the 30. PLUS before philly theres a big empty gap, so it's not like they need rest from other shows. i think it is so that they can tack on the 31! i'm praying! and i'm also praying they aren't opening for bruce!
2008: MSG 1, Hartford, Mansfield 2, Ed Solo NYC 1
2009: London (O2), Philly 1, 2, 3, & 4
2010: Hartford, Boston, MSG 1 & 2
2011: Ed Solo Hartford
2012: Philly (MIA Fest)
2013: Worcester 2, Brooklyn 1 & 2, Hartford
I just don't want the last show of the tour to be a 1hr set that is SUPER heavy on the radio faves.
Then again, I'll be happy if I get to see PJ in Philly. It's so easy to get spoiled.
Sometimes I need to take a step back and rethink this stuff. Would it really be "unfortunate" for PJ to open for Bruce on the 31st? No. It would be awesome. It's just that PJ blows my mind and I would love to have only PJ on the 31st.
I got inside info too and I thought i heard my buddy say that bruce is playing the week before pj. I could be wrong but I'll call him today. I thought he said that pj was closing out the spectrum.
See what happening?
I have some massive ticket requests in for the shows that were already announced. I have been under the impression that a 3rd show will be announced when the other 2 sell out. Just don't see it being with Bruce but I could be wrong.
When I hear back on Monday about my tickets I will see what the deal is.
not happening,...
