Calgary Pre-Party for Virgin Festival!

**On corner of 24th Ave SW, and 5th St (Mission area)

Unfortunately, there will be no fundraisers, promotions, or giveaways. This is just a chance for locals (or travelers) to meet up the day before the show, share stories, laughs and maybe a pint or two. If anyone has questions on how to get there, hours of operation, etc, feel free to PM me.

The night before the show was selected, as this is a GA event, and many (including myself) will want to get there early for posters, and to get close to stage!

    I'm in, We were a the pre-party in Maui and it was sweet, maybe we can get some kind of fund raiser going.

    am I the onlly one who thinks it's ridiculous to try to save a spot at a GA show? It always amazes me that people get offended by people pushing by them once the headliner takes the stage. I've never bothered with a GA crowd until the band I want to see takes the stage...why deal with that shit the whole day just to save a spot and have 10,000 'assholes' like me push by you?

    I hear ya...I've gotten into it with people here that feel like it's viable to grab a spot near the stage as soon as the bands begin, and then complain that people take 'their spot' when the rush to the front begins...I've always found that funny.

    I wish we could pre-order posters with our tickets or something...I'm not big on spending a lot of time at the venue - I'd rather drink cheaply at a pre-party or tailgate area...
