I keep hearing about the band declaring that they won't be touring in 2010. Does anyone know when, where or even if this was definitively stated?

    It has NEVER been definitively stated. It was mentioned by Eddie in an interview several months ago, which I don't think in any case is an official statement.

    I also don't think his comment can be taken to me they won't tour at all in 2010. Just that there is going to be a period of months in 2010 that they can't tour because of the additional family member.

    Something about one of the band members having a baby... but I'd think that said baby would have been born by now or close to being born...

    There's also loose speculation that the "baby" could be Matt re-joining Soundgarden in 2010... but I have no idea where that came from other than the members of SG have been in talks about a reunion sometime in the future.
