said high school... Brinkley was a beast, he holds the city rushing title.

Best player i ever played against. And I was lucky to play against Steve Slaton and Dan Connor that year.

not saying Blair Thomas was necessarily better but when you say best there is always an argument for someone else. If you count the Catholic League as the city you could always say Kevin Jones as well from O'Hara (yes I know O'Hara is in the suburbs). Kevin Jones was like the number 1 recruit in the country.

Absolutely count the Catholic league. It's a better league. Yes there can always be an argument, and Brinkley will always be in it. Kevin Jones was a monster. Was he really the top RB recruit in the country?

These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

Yes he was but ended up at Virginia Tech because he wanted his father to be his own special trainer and wanted to run track - Joe Paterno and most major schools balked at that. Supposedly he was going to go to Penn State until Paterno said no to the father being his trainer in lieu of Penn State's staff handling his training.
