I think someone translated it into English from the same German magazine that had the Backspacer tracks listing.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm beginning to think a certain band member's health is limiting his involvement in extensive touring.

    let's hope not
    but i dont think so
i think they just want what we all want
some time with our families at home

imagine if you had to drag your family all over the country/world for months at time living in close quarters
i know members of my family that i'd tie up, duct tape their mouths and make them ride under the bus by after the 2cnd week :p

Yep. Look at the Black Crowes. Now THAT is a fucking tour by a band that actually enjoys playing live and isn't too big to admit that maybe they shouldn't book big arenas when they know they can't sell them out but go on and tour anyway.

Ya I think its 's all because of the band members all having small children right now. To me this is very understandable. People keep saying well Bruce & Neil still tour extensively, but they forget Bruce & Neil have grown children. Completely different circumstances! I think these smaller tours will be the norm from now on.

I will be seeing the Crowes Monday night at the House of Blues Cleveland. You may be right about not selling out 20,000 seat venues anymore. When Pearl Jam played here in 06, you could buy a scalper ticket for $25.00 and the scalpers were still eating tickets. Maybe the days of P.J playing 30/40 tour dates at large venues in North America are over.

i really really hope this is not the case, with MM or anyone in the band or their family.

    but...

if it is, i wish they would just say something. it would cause a lot less ill feelings, and its a very good reason for not touring the way they use to. but ya know what? so is having kids. i just wish they would say something about it thats all.

if this is how its going to be for a while or even from now on, i can live with that. its cool.
    i just want to know.
dont like spending 2000 dollars to fly to the west coast from Ohio, if i can see them closer. thats my only bitch. im going for tickets on the west coast and ill have fun no matter what. but if i pay for all that, then they add like 4 shows within driving distance afterward, ill be a bit salty. but not too much. ;)
    Peace, Love.
